Hindi

At the age of 18, she started her career as an actor in Hindi films. Dolly made her debut in Bollywood with the film ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’ (1996) in which she played the role of Bhagwanti.

In 2010, she gained immense popularity with the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss season 4.’ In the Bigg Boss house, she was involved in various controversial fights with her co-contestants like Shweta Tiwari, Sameer Soni, Ashmit Patel, and Veena Malik. Some of her famous dialogues from Bigg Boss 4 are ‘Baap Par Jana Nahi’ which she said while having a heated argument with her co-contestant Manoj Tiwari.

In 2012, Dolly met the Indian politician Mayawati hinting towards joining the BSP. In an interview, when she was asked about joining politics, she said,
Right now I would not like to say anything as to – which party I’m joining or my role in the political scheme of things. But yes, it is true that I’m entering politics in a big way! You will soon know more on this front. Till now, I have been in politics as a person behind the scene. But now, I’m taking the next step and coming to the forefront.”

Controversies

Fued with Radhe Maa

Dolly met the self-proclaimed Indian god woman Radhe Maa for the first time through one of her friends. In an interview, she shared that she was depressed about her several miscarriages after which she decided to take spiritual guidance. After being a devotee of Radhe Maa for almost four years, in 2015, Dolly Bindra filed a case against Radhe Maa and her close aides for sexually exploiting Dolly. In an interview, she said that Radhe Maa was a fraud and was involved in various criminal activities.

Fight With Neighbours

In 2014, Dolly had a fight with her neighbours at her apartment in Bhoomi Classic Society in Malad, Mumbai. According to the sources, her neighbours knocked on her door at midnight, and as soon as dolly’s sister opened the door, the neighbours started abusing her. Dolly and her neighbours than had a physical fight. Earlier, her neighbours had filed a police complaint at Malad Police Station against Dolly for disturbing their mental peace.  In an interview, while talking to the reporters, one of her neighbours said,
For nine years, I have been tolerating all her nonsense but now she has crossed the limit and started talking abusively with my daughters. I had first filed a complaint against her in the month of February when she had abused my elder daughter.”
