Liza Lapira is an American actress. She is best known for playing Kianna in the 2008 film 21 and made her acting debut in the 2000 film Autumn in New York. She has appeared in several films and television series including the CBS police procedural series NCIS (TV series, 2006–2008). Lapira has also co-starred in the short-lived sitcoms Traffic Light (2011), Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 (2012–2013), Super Fun Night (2013–2014), and 9JKL (2017–2018).

Career

Liza Lapira is of Filipino, Spanish, and Chinese descent. She attended Forest Hills High School, Forest Hills, New York, where she performed on stage and in independent films. She later moved to Los Angeles in 2004 to pursue a successful acting career in films and television.
Lapira appeared in Tony Scott’s 2005 film Domino and independent feature The Big Bad Swim (2006) where she played Paula. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2006. She appeared in J.J. Abrams’s 2008 film Cloverfield and also appeared in Table for Three (2009) as Nerissa.
Also in 2009, she played Agent Sophie in the action film Fast & Furious opposite Paul Walker. In 2010, she played Alva in the science fiction action film Repo Men. She portrayed Liz, the sharp-tongued friend of Hannah (Emma Stone) in the 2011 romantic comedy film Crazy, Stupid, Love. The film stars Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Marisa Tomei, and Kevin Bacon.
Liza Lapira’s first major role was a series regular spot on the Showtime TV series Huff from 2004 to 2006. She played neuroscientist Ivy in both seasons of Joss Whedon’s series Dollhouse (TV series, 2009–2010).
Her other recurring roles include Dexter (TV series, 2008), ER (TV series, 2008), Monk (TV series, 2007), Grey’s Anatomy (TV series, 2006), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (TV series, 1999), The Parkers (TV series, 2004), Sex and the City (TV series, 2003), and The Sopranos (TV series, 2004)..
