N. R. Narayanamurthy was born on 20 August 1946 in Sidlaghatta, Karnataka. Narayan Murthy was talented from the beginning and used to solve the question paper in a pinch compared to other students. On 1 June 2013, Murthy returned to Infosys in the role of Executive Chairman and Additional Director. On 14 June 2014, he stepped down as the executive chairman of Infosys.
N. R. Narayanamurthy is married to Sudha Murthy (Kulkarni). He is the BV of Hubli. In Electrical Engineering from Bhoomarddy College of Engineering and Technology, B.E. did. When he came first in his class, he received the award from the Chief Minister of Karnataka. After this, he did his ME from Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science.
