- She was once in a mall in Bangalore, shopping in Pantaloons with her friend. There, she got to know that in the mall someone was taking auditions for the Femina Miss South India beauty pageant. Her friends insisted her to give the audition. She agreed to it and got qualified in the top 14 contestants.
- While she was doing the workshop of Femina Miss South India, the designers told her that she would fit for international modelling. A few days later, she got a call from the Times of India, Mumbai office to audition for Grazia Ford Supermodel of India. Initially, she rejected the offer as she was new to Mumbai. Later, she agreed to it and participated in the beauty pageant. Later, she won the title.

- Sheriina then represented India at the International Ford Supermodel of the World held in Montenegro, Europe. However, she could not win the pageant and finished in top-10 contestants.
- After returning to India, she started getting offers of various print advertisements. She has worked as a model in print advertisements for various brands like Chennai Skills, Malabar Golds, GV Mills, Swatcha Neelu, and Viswa & Devji.
